Bognor Regis Golf Club host lots of Open competitions throughout the year and we welcome you to join us in the various events.

The year starts with the Men's Over 50's Team Event. This is an extremely popular competition a complete Open, no Bognor members can play. It is played in teams of 4, 3 scores to count per hole. It is oversubscribed every year so please get your entries in quick.

Our Ladies section run the Mixed Charity Open for over 55's a great event where all proceeds go to the chosen charity for the year.

The Gilligan Mixed Open in June has been running since 1929, founded by Arthur Gilligan former Club President and former test cricketer. A hugley popular 36 Hole Foursomes. NEW FOR 2012! We have added a Scratch Trophy to run along side the Gilligan which is Nett. This year will see a bigger field and a much bigger prize fund!

In 2011 we combined The Purley Trophy and The Bognor Challenge Cup. After the great success of last years event we are keeping it the same for 2012. The Purley Trophy is our Scratch Open and Sussex County Order of Merit Event. The Bognor Challenge Cup is a Nett competition, both are 36 Holes Medal played together, competitors are eligible to win both competitions. 2011 had a full field so please get your entries in fast to avoid disappointment.

We play The Davis Bowl and The Millbourn Cup the day after The Purley Trophy and The Bognor Challenge Cup. The Davis Bowl is on the Sunday morning and is an 18 Hole Foursomes event. The Millbourn Cup played on the Sunday afternoon is an 18 Hole Fourball Better Ball Bogey event. Please come along and enjoy a weekend of Golf at Bognor Regis Golf Club.
